Editorial policy
Golden Outdoor Living aims to make clear, useful editorial work about outdoor home spaces. We distinguish general guidance from opinion, check claims before publication and correct errors when they come to our attention.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable sources and take care not to present preference as fact. Articles should explain their scope and limits in plain language. When a subject depends on a particular product, location or situation, we make that dependence clear and avoid implying that one choice suits everyone.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made with readers' interests in mind. Payment or a partnership does not guarantee favorable coverage or editorial approval. Sponsored or partner material is identified clearly where it appears, so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial work.
Corrections
If you spot an error, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and passage. We review correction requests and update material when a change is warranted. Significant corrections are noted in the affected article; minor changes for spelling or clarity may be made without a separate note.
Illustrations
Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Where an image could be mistaken for a documentary photograph or a real finished space, we label it accordingly. Illustrations are not evidence that a design, product or arrangement has been built or tested.
